I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and also to let you know that we have a new location for our LIWA Saturday meetings.

For those of you that were at the December meeting, I announced that due to school budget cuts, the BOCES carpentry shop would no longer be available to us on Saturday Mornings.

We were able to work out an arrangement with Old Bethpage Village Restoration to use their facilities.

Old Bethpage Restoration Village is part of Nassau County Parks and Recreation system and is located at:

1303 Round Swamp Road Old Bethpage, NY 11804

Our future meetings will be held in the cafeteria of the Main Building (NOT the big barn).  We will be able to store our Powermatic Lathe and Big Screen TV there.

HOWEVER, OUR JANUARY 17TH MEETING WILL BE IN THE BIG BARN AT OBVR due to construction in the main building.

Saturday February 21st

Saturday March 14th   Keith Tompkins

 

Our meeting time will be from 9 am (open at 8:15ish) to the usual 1 pm end time.
