I started woodturning in October 2019 when I went to Santa Rosa, CA for a one-week class with David Marks. In this class I learned the basics of turning but more importantly woodworking as an art form rather then just practical projects. I started collecting tools for the shop in November and came to the Long Island Woodturning Association in December. A global pandemic allowed me to focus on my skills and get more active in the group which has provided assistance, inspiration and some good friendships.
For May and June of 2023 I was able to display some of my work at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration

I was also able to be a wood turning demonstrator at the 2022 and 2023 Long Island Woodworking show.
